Alpaca Time
Drop by our store for warm, soft, cushy
alpaca socks, insoles, mitts, gloves, hats, headbands, yarn and rovings that are made on-site. You’ll also find some imported alpaca products as well as other natural and local products that go with our handmade theme. From mid-May to mid-September you can spend some time relaxing with a couple of alpacas, then see how their fibre is processed through a viewing window in the mill. Everything Alpaca! Pootcorners is home to over 60 alpacas. In the spring
we are shearing. Late spring/early summer is birthing season ... the new cria’s are so cute! Visitors are welcome to interact with the alpacas. A fully stocked farm store offers products made from their fleece, such as socks, mitts, scarves, toques, blankets, insoles and more. We also have yarn and raw fleece for the crafty person.
